Privacy Policy for Doomless

This Privacy Policy explains how Doomless (“Doomless,” “the app,” “we,” “us”) handles your information. The short version: Doomless is built to leave your data alone. It runs entirely on your device, has no account, and sends nothing to us or anyone else.

1. The simple summary

• We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
• Doomless has no account, no sign-up, and no servers. We never receive your information because the app makes no network connections for its core function.
• Everything you create in Doomless stays on your device (and, for features that need it, in a private App Group container that other parts of Doomless on the same device can read).
• Apple's privacy “nutrition label” for Doomless reads Data Not Collected.

2. Information Doomless stores on your device (and never sends to us)

To do its job, Doomless keeps the following locally on your device only:

• Your settings and content: the personal “intention” text you write, focus session history, streaks, time you have reclaimed, your schedules, and your sound/haptics preferences.
• Your app selections: when you choose apps to “tame,” Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework gives Doomless only opaque tokens. By Apple's design, we cannot see which apps you picked or read any of your usage. We store these tokens locally solely to apply shields.

We do not have access to any of the above. It is not backed up to us, and we cannot retrieve it.

3. Screen Time data

Doomless uses Apple's Family Controls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks. Any system screen-time figures are shown only inside Apple's sandboxed DeviceActivityReport view and are never copied into Doomless's own storage or sent anywhere. Doomless cannot extract or transmit your usage data.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through StoreKit and your Apple Account. Doomless receives only your entitlement status (whether you have an active purchase) on your device. We do not receive or store your name, email, or payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. No analytics, no tracking, no third parties

The current version of Doomless includes no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no analytics that leave your device. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and Doomless does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

If this ever changes: should we add privacy-respecting, anonymous product analytics in a future version, we will update this policy to name the provider and the limited, non-identifying usage data involved, update our App Store privacy label accordingly, and describe it here before that version ships. We would still not sell your data or track you across other companies' apps or sites.

6. Children

Doomless is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. Because we collect no data, there is nothing to delete.

7. Your rights

Because Doomless stores your information only on your device and we never receive it, you are always in control:

• To delete everything, delete the app; its on-device data is removed with it.
• You can revoke Screen Time access anytime in Settings → Screen Time.

If you are in a region with data-protection laws (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR, the UK, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), note that we are not a “controller” or “business” collecting your personal data through this app, because we do not collect it. You may still contact us with questions at the address below.

8. Security

Your Doomless data lives in your device's sandbox and App Group container, protected by iOS. There is no server for an attacker to breach because we operate none for the app.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
