These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Closva app and widgets (“Closva”), published by AAM Builds (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Closva, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Closva on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, which also applies to your use of the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Closva. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Closva only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Subscriptions & purchases
Closva offers an optional premium upgrade. Receiving from your partner is always free; premium unlocks unlimited sending, all themes, and other features.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions: the weekly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple ID. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription automatically renews at the then-current price.
- Free trial: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Lifetime: the lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
- Managing & cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the App Store (iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Payment & refunds: all purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
4. Your content
Doodles, notes, and other content you create (“Your Content”) belong to you. Closva stores Your Content in your own iCloud and shares it with the partner you pair with; we do not operate servers that receive or store it. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to share it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Closva to: harass, abuse, or harm another person; share unlawful, infringing, or non-consensual content; or interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app except as permitted by law. Closva is intended for consensual communication between partners.
6. Service “as is”
Closva relies on Apple iCloud/CloudKit and device features. It is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that messages, notifications, or widgets will always be delivered, timely, or error-free, including where Apple services are delayed or unavailable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AAM Builds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of Closva. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
You may stop using Closva at any time by unpairing and deleting the app. We may suspend or end the service, or these Terms, if you breach them or if we discontinue the app.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
