This Privacy Policy explains how IDReady: Passport ID Photo (“IDReady”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), published by AAM Builds, handles information. The short version: IDReady is built so your photos never leave your device. There’s no account, and we run no servers that receive your images.
1. The short version
- Your photos are captured, sized, and compliance-checked entirely on your device.
- Your images are not uploaded to us or anyone else.
- No account is required, and we never sell your data.
2. Camera & photo access
With your permission, IDReady accesses your camera and/or photo library only to let you take or choose a photo and turn it into an ID, passport, or visa image. The selected image is processed locally and saved where you choose. Access is used solely for this purpose.
3. What we store
Your photos and app settings stay on your device (and in your own photo library if you save them). We operate no servers and do not receive your images or personal data.
4. Purchases
Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive only your entitlement status — never your name, card, or payment details.
5. Third parties & analytics
IDReady does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown. We do not sell your information.
6. Children
IDReady is a utility intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your rights
Your images and data remain under your control on your device — delete the app (and any saved photos) to remove them. If you’re covered by the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA, you may contact us with questions, though we hold no personal data about you on our own servers.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this URL. For material changes we’ll note it in the app’s release notes.
