Tasleem: Property Snagging is provided by AAM Builds. Tasleem is a single-user, local-first iOS app with no login, AAM Builds backend, project cloud upload, or project sync.
Privacy at a glance
AAM Builds does not sell personal information, show advertising, or track activity across other companies' apps or websites. Your project evidence stays in Tasleem's app container on your device. Apple processes App Store transactions, and RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history and limited purchase-service technical information. A report leaves the app only when you choose Share report and select a destination through the iOS share sheet.
Information stored on your device
Depending on the features you use, Tasleem stores the following in its local app container:
- Project names, details, snag titles, notes, rooms, trades, severity, status, optional estimates, and timestamps.
- Photos selected or taken for a snag, annotations flattened onto those photos, and a floor-plan image, including page 1 rendered from a floor-plan PDF.
- SHA-256 digital photo fingerprints.
- On-device speech transcripts that you can review and edit before saving.
- Optional latitude and longitude coordinates.
- The local record that a selected project has been unlocked for full report exports.
AAM Builds cannot remotely view, retrieve, or recover this information because Tasleem has no account, evidence backend, or project-sync service. Device backups, share-sheet destinations, and services outside Tasleem are controlled by you, Apple, or the selected provider and may have their own privacy practices.
Permissions and feature access
Tasleem asks for access only when you choose a feature that needs it.
- Camera: used when you choose Open camera to photograph a defect.
- Photo library: used when you choose an image for a snag or floor plan. Tasleem receives the item you select.
- Microphone and speech recognition: used when you start dictation for a snag title or details.
- Location: if you continue from the in-app rationale and allow iOS access, saved photo evidence may receive current coordinates. Evidence still saves when permission is declined or location is unavailable.
You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Turning off a permission limits the related feature but does not send existing project evidence to AAM Builds.
On-device speech recognition
Tasleem requires on-device speech recognition. Live microphone audio is used to produce text on the device and is not uploaded by Tasleem or saved as an audio recording. The transcript is placed in an editable field so you can review, change, or delete it before saving. If an on-device speech model is unavailable, you can type instead.
Optional location
When iOS location access has not been decided, the first evidence save shows Add location to photo evidence. Choosing Continue requests iOS permission; choosing Not now saves without coordinates. If access is allowed, the current save and later saved photo evidence may receive current coordinates while permission remains enabled. Coordinates remain local evidence, are not included in the current exported report, and are not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Digital photo fingerprints and report status
Tasleem computes a SHA-256 digital fingerprint from a saved photo file. The fingerprint can help compare the file with the recorded value and identify whether its contents appear to have changed. It does not prove who created a photo, establish the circumstances of capture, guarantee other project details, or establish legal authenticity.
Tasleem reports are supporting documentation only. They are not legal certifications, certified inspection reports, or RERA-approved documents.
Purchases
Tasleem offers one consumable in-app purchase, tasleem_report_unlock, priced at AED 99.99 in the UAE storefront. It unlocks repeated full exports for one selected local project on the current app installation. It is not a subscription, is not reusable for another project, and has no account-based restore or transfer mechanism.
Apple processes the transaction and payment details under Apple's privacy policy. AAM Builds does not receive your card number, bank details, Apple Account password, or other payment credentials.
RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase history plus limited app and device technical information, such as device or platform type, OS version, app and SDK version, locale, and first- and last-seen times. RevenueCat uses this information to operate the purchase service, validate the App Store purchase, enable the report unlock, and provide purchase analytics. Tasleem does not send RevenueCat project evidence, a custom user ID, contact information, or customer attributes. RevenueCat generates a random anonymous identifier for its purchase record. It is not used by Tasleem for advertising or cross-app or cross-website tracking. Learn more in RevenueCat's privacy information.
Because the unlock record is local and the product is consumable, deleting its project, deleting or reinstalling Tasleem, or moving to another device removes access to that unlock. AAM Builds support cannot restore or transfer it.
Sharing and disclosures
- Your report choice: the PDF leaves the app only when you tap Share report and choose a destination. AAM Builds does not receive a copy through Tasleem.
- Purchase services: Apple and RevenueCat process the purchase information described above.
- Support email: if you email AAM Builds, your email provider and ours process your address, message, and attachments.
- Legal requirements: AAM Builds may preserve or disclose information it actually holds when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect users, rights, and safety.
Retention and deletion
Local project evidence remains in the app container until you delete individual snags, delete the project, or delete Tasleem. Deleting a snag removes its saved record and images. Deleting a project removes its SwiftData records, snag images, and stored floor-plan image.
Reports are created in temporary app storage. iOS may clear temporary files as it manages storage, and deleting Tasleem removes its app container. Copies already shared or saved outside Tasleem are controlled by the selected destination. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their own service, legal, and accounting obligations. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed.
Security limits
Tasleem relies on the protections of the iOS app container and your device. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a device passcode, keep iOS current, and review report recipients before sending evidence.
Children
Tasleem is a general-audience property inspection tool and is not directed to children. It does not ask for a date of birth or create user accounts.
International processing and privacy rights
Apple, RevenueCat, and email providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or delete personal information AAM Builds holds, or to object to or restrict certain processing. In Tasleem, you can review and edit a speech transcript before saving, change a saved snag's status, and delete individual snags or entire projects.
For purchase-history or support-email requests, contact AAM Builds below. Because Tasleem has no account and RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier, we may need limited information to locate a relevant record and may not be able to connect a support email to an anonymous purchase record. Apple handles requests concerning Apple Account and payment records.
Changes to this policy
AAM Builds may update this policy when Tasleem's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Material changes will be explained through the App Store listing, the app, or this page as appropriate.
